What we Believe at
The Orchard Church:
- Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior! He died on the cross to pay for our sins; He is mortal and Divine, and He is our only true Lord and Savior.
- The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the authority on the Christian way of Life.
- Missions, evangelism and outreach are high priority. We support our community in many ways with the donations and time of our Church members. We also reach out and spread the Good News of a life with Jesus Christ.
- Individuals become Christians once they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and they ask forgiveness for their sins, and we believe that Christians should have a personal relationship with God.
- We demonstrate our faith through Believer’s Baptism, by full immersion. This demonstrates an end to our old life, and symbolizes a resurrection to a new life in Christ.
- We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month. We invite all believers to share in the bread and cup that symbolize His broken body and the blood He shed for our sins, as Jesus did with His disciples the night before His crucifixion.
